APRIL KAE: INFLUENCER

 

April Kae (@loveaprilkae) is an influencer, musician, and writer originally from Austin, Texas and currently based in New York City. Known for her authentic voice and one-of-a-kind natural hair, she is a champion for women’s issues, particularly body positivity and self-care.

In 2015, April moved to New York for a position at a top Wall Street firm but found herself more interested in the arts and activism scene than the stock market. So, she left finance for a more creative life. Since then, April has collaborated with dozens of companies as an influencer and model including Dove, Estee Lauder and Sephora, Macy’s, Solo New York, Ulta, and Warby Parker. Furthermore, in 2018 alone she was featured by Allure, Cosmopolitan, Huffington Post, Marie Claire, Mic Media, NBC, and Reuters, to name a few. More importantly, though, April engages her 55,000-strong digital community through honest conversation, storytelling, and creativity. She also performs regularly around the city with her band, Imanigold.
